Fusiliers (Winter Force) I wanted to make these guys really look decked out for a winter theatre of operations so added much more white to them than the studio army.  White is quite taxing to do but it was worth it.  I like the idea of there being distinct colours and uniforms of different Pano sectorial armies.  Fusilier (Combi Rifle 1) Fusilier (Combi Rifle 2) Fusilier (Combi Rifle 3)

WHITE BANNER ARMY: Operation Kaldstrom So this year I wanted to work on a few different armies (Yujing, PanO and Nomads) and had no plans to expand them that much.  Then I got caught up in the hype of Code One and had to get my hands on Operation Kaldstrom, which happened to include two of those armies.  It was fun to add some snow to these armies but the white was a bit taxing to do.  In the end I stuck pretty closely to the studio colours for the mot part. It was a real pressure to get them all done but I managed to do it in a couple of weeks.

Dàofei Tactical Section The bossman for the White Banner Army.  Little details on the armour, camo, plus subtle osl were the highlights of this paintjob.

Jujak KSR My favourite new Yu Jing Design (Reminds me of the armour from Dead Space ).  I felt like this guy deserved his own national Korean colours rather than the standard Yu Jing yellow/orange so I went for a red, blue and yellow scheme.  This colour combo has been used on traditional Korean soldiers throughout the ages. I just had to decide how to break up those colours across the model and in doing so also ended up adding a bit of white and black for a total of the five main colours. All of which, incidentally, are the main traditional colours of Korea, the  오방색  ( obangsaek ).  It's convenient that the yellow ties the model to the rest of the white banner army. Burn baby burn!
